John has been an artisan and craftsman for nearly forty years. After retiring, he embraced his passion and created Peppercorn Studio. John designs, carves and hand-finishes one-of-a-kind pieces made of fine, rare, and unique wood, including cedar, burl maple, and Lebanese cedar.

 

Much of the wood he uses is locally sourced. These pieces allow him to capture the beautiful grain patterns inherent in the wood. These well-loved creations include console tables, side tables, coffee tables as well as charcuterie and serving boards.
